We do a lot of walking up the valley. The Humble Table is a bit off the beaten path for passing traffic, so satnav for first time visitors. It is great start point for walks and cycling. Dog friendly, inside and outside seating. Food and drink are good, staff friendly and easy to park. Really hope this cafe works out.

Just recently discovered this cafe. It is tucked away along Brown Street, past the old lace Mills, but it is worth seeking out. I also took my dog into the cafe, which is amazing that that is available. One of us had homemade French Onion Soup with Mozerella sprinkled on top, and I had a roll with Slice and a Fried Egg. Very reasonable prices, nice and spacious comfortable surroundings and lovely food & service. What more could you want! We'll be going again. Highly recommend this lovely cafe.

Bit out of the way and unimposing from the outside, but excellent inside with a great menu and service, they had some delays cooking so marked down one star. I had French toast with bacon & syrup and a black coffee my colleague had poached eggs on toast with hot chocolate and everything was tasty and good and will definitely be back
